What's in a Name? Petunia Pickle Bottom

Petunia Pickle Bottom was founded by a trio of friends in 2000. The head designer's father coined the name when she was a toddler. Do You Love Hot Dog on a Stick Lemonade?

We found the recipe! I've tried it many times and it tastes just the same as at the mall-HEAVEN! Don't let the sugar amount freak you out, it's probably less than a Capri Sun or other sugar drink.

You can make this into a kid activity. Put them outside if you are worried about lemon juice squirting all over your kitchen. I use a strainer over a Pyrex 2-cup measure to sort out the seeds and other yucky stuff.

Kids can:

Gather supplies

Pick lemons

Scoop sugar

Measure water

Juice lemons

Stir

Kids' contributions will vary according to age but you might be surprised at how quickly they learn and how happy they are to help.
